Steve is a specialist in wallpaper hanging. He works with speed and accuracy to ensure best value for money. Consultancy
You may have a larger decorating or building project but do not have the time to oversee it yourself. Or you may want advice and guidance on how to cost a project specification and/or talk through some of the technical issues, to ensure that you are getting good value for money and the quality of finish you desire. As a qualified surveyor Steve is experienced in these areas from his many years of working on both small residential renovations and larger commercial projects, managing teams of operatives. He’s not just a great worker he’s a brilliant foreman too!
Training
The third string to Steve’s bow is of course his teaching qualification. He has overseen the training of more than 2,000 decorating students at the building skills college in east London and in the year
2000 was promoted to Manager of the Centre of Vocational Excellence. For his final 7 years at the college he was Head of Building Construction, overseeing the training of operatives for the construction industry at one of the biggest further education college in the UK. Steve now enjoys teaching much smaller groups how to apply decorative effects and other techniques to their home projects, such as furniture upcycling. He also passes on the top ‘tricks of the trade’ in painting and wallpapering.
